Gillian Patton
MMMP rotation student (2023)
Gillian Patton grew up in Columbia, South Carolina and is a first year molecular microbiology and microbial pathogenesis student. She completed her BA in Molecular and Cellular Biology at Vanderbilt University in 2023, where she conducted research on adaptive trajectories in E. coli in Megan Behringer’s lab. She has also conducted research on the E. coli Rcs phosphorelay in Susan Gottesman’s lab at the National Cancer Institute. Outside of the lab, she enjoys reading and hiking.
